• Camping Spots

When you are surviving in the wild, it is essential that you pick the right camping spot. The wrong spot can put you and your loved ones in danger.

Survey the area when you arrive at the camping area. Search for the highest ground available and camp there. That will give you the best vantage point. That way, no one can sneak up on you.

If you go with the low ground, someone can take the high ground and peak out at you. That will put you, your family, and your supplies in danger.

Just be mindful of lighting when you take the high ground. Find some areas for cover so you can protect yourself during a storm.

Survey areas in the wild ahead of time so you will know where you want to go. Then, come up with an evacuation plan that includes finding a great vantage point.
